2010 Relay for Life Bowlathon

Teams for the Relay for Life will be hosting a bowlathon event at the WOW Zone! to raise money for this year’s event.  If you like to bowl, this is a great opportunity to connect with family and friends to help raise funds to benefit the Blue Earth County Relay for Life to be held on July 16th and 17th at Ray Erlandson Park on Victory Drive.

This year’s bowlathon will take place on Wednesday June 16th, 2010 at the WOW Zone!   They are located at 2030 Adams Street in Mankato.  We are asking for you help!  Organize yourself into teams of 4 or 5 and sign up for this exciting event.  There is a $5 entry fee for each participant.  Register your team by June 2, 2010 by filling out this REGISTRATION FORM.  Once you have completed this, start talking to friends, family, coworkers, and anyone you know.  Ask them to make a donation to your team to sponsor your participation.

Most importantly, have fun!  Have a team theme or costume if you like.  We will be giving out prizes for the best themes, the top fundraisers, and the top scoring teams.

What is the Relay for Life?

The Relay for Life is a community event to help raise funds for cancer research, and more importantly, to honor those who have battled the deadly disease.  The event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, and flourishes with the help of the community.  To learn more about the Relay for Life, read here about Discover Chiropractic’s involvement in the previous years.
