Dr. Cuong Huynh was born in Saigon, Vietnam. His family immigrated to the U.S. when he was 4 years old. He spent his childhood in Gig Harbor, Wash., where he graduated from Gig Harbor High School. He went on to receive an Associate’s degree at Tacoma Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Washington, and his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West.
Dr. Huynh has been involved in various events over the years, including being a tutor in mathematics, organizing community blood drives with the American Red Cross, and community food drives. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Huynh received the Student Service Award, Fellowship Award, Sports Council Award, and the Associated Student Government Class Representative of the Year twice. He also participated in various leadership roles including his Class Representative, serving as Vice President to the Associated Student Government, and presidency and/or involvement in various other social and academic activities.
Dr. Huynh met his wife, Dr. Debra Bobendrier, while attending Palmer West. Upon graduation, Dr. Huynh began practice in the State of Washington, near his hometown. As of November of 2007, Drs. Huynh and Bobendrier relocated to Mankato, Minn. They have been welcomed with open arms and are eager to bring their many skills to the community.
