Did anyone really think we were going to take a honeymoon and not open up for business the Monday following our wedding? Well, as of Monday June 16, 2008, Discover Chiropractic officially opened its doors.
There is still quite a bit of work to do, so we hope everyone will understand as we slowly make the transition. Many good things are in store. Until then, we would eagerly like to welcome our first patient. Congratulations, Jillian!
We would like to thank everyone involved in helping us get to where we are today.
The big day has finally arrived. Though it was great seeing everyone we have not seen in a long time, we also remembered those who were not able to attend. The day of the ceremony could not have been more perfect, as it was a warm sunny day with the perfect breeze. The reception went long into the night, and after it was all said and done, we are husband and wife.
It has been a long time since these two pictures were taken, but these two families are now one. We lost some. We gained some more. We have grown in age. We have grown in size. We have grown in wisdom. We are thoughtful to remember where we are now, compared to where we were then.
We have been at the planning process for quite awhile now. But finally, we have been able to start construction of the space. As you can see, the first step we had to undertake was to get the walls up and primed for paint.
We were very fortunate to receive all the help that has been given. After hours and hours of painting, the place is starting to look like an office. Of course, mistakes were made, but we still love you, John!
But like they say, this is why they made erasers, or in this case, more paint. And after a few coats of paint and hours of hard labor by us and the construction crew, we are looking more and more like an office. The end is coming near.
